The public sector plays a vital role in city, region and community developments as well as ensuring local authorities and public sector organisations are seizing sustainable opportunities and meeting carbon reduction policies. The Carbon Trust Public Sector Conference will explore these roles throughout the day.

The Agenda will cover best practice and an insight from those leading on the agenda, focusing on:

  • Urban Design and Planning
  • Finance, Funding and Investment
  • Decentralised Energy and Heat Networks
  • Sustainable Estates and Systems
  • Energy Management and Renewables
  • Smart Cities

Salix will be hosting a seminar at 3:15pm on funding for energy efficiency measures within the Public Sector and an update on each of the programmes for the upcoming financial year. A number of other sessions will also be held throughout the day, focusing on case studies celebrating successful projects and uncovering the challenges and opportunities facing city leaders and major stakeholders. Delegates will be engaged and informed over interactive workshops, keynote speakers and a breakfast roundtable.
