Salix Delighted to be Sponsoring Green Gown Awards 2019

Salix are delighted to be supporting and sponsoring the Sustainability Champion of the Year category at the Green Gown Awards 2019.

The Awards have become established as the most prestigious recognition of environmental best practice within the further and higher education sectors, providing a benchmark for excellence that is respected by Government, funding councils, senior management, academics and students. Applying for a Green Gown Award not only inspires those involved, but also motivates others within the education sector to do more to reach their sustainability goals and to access new opportunities.

Sustainability Champion of the Year Award

This category recognises both staff and students at a tertiary education institution who have worked hard at implementing a sustainability project/initiative (or several) and whose involvement has made a positive impact be that on their peers, their institution, their students, their local community or their local workforce.

The Green Gown Awards ethos is to bring together a wealth of knowledge and resources from across the sector and beyond.

Deadline for applications to Green Gown Awards (Stage 1) close on Wednesday 5th June.
