Salix exhibiting and presenting at Sustainability Day for Action, London

Salix is proud to be supporting Sustainability Day for Action on 25th October 2018. On the day the campaign will be sharing good practice across the health sector by hosting a range of talks covering sustainable solutions, waste management, carbon management, sustainability on the ward and how to secure finance.

Liam Gillard, Client Support Officer at Salix will be presenting ‘Securing funding to deliver cost-saving energy efficient technologies’ alongside Richard Hilson, Head of Sustainability for Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust at 13:40. Liam says, “We have been supporting Frimley Heath NHS Foundation Trust to deliver an extensive range of energy efficiency projects as well as providing the client and technical support they need to get multiple projects off the ground. We are delighted to be able to share their experience and achievements with further NHS Trusts to allow them to do the same.”

Recently NHS Improvement announced £46 million for NHS Trusts and Foundation Trusts to install LED lighting across their estates. In light of this announcement Salix will be at hand during the conference to provide best practice advice on LED lighting projects as well as other technology types.
