Salix Present at the NHS Sustainability Day Roadshow in Manchester on 9th February 2017

Salix exhibited and presented for the fourth year running at the latest NHS Sustainability Day Roadshow in Central Manchester on Thursday 9th February.

The day consisted of a number of presentations, concentrating on the different ways a sustainable NHS can be achieved.

Emma Lawes, Client Support Officer for the NHS Team, gave an overview presentation of Salix, showcasing some of the excellent work NHS Trusts and Foundation Trusts have done to reduce their energy spend. Emma was joined by Mark Hogan, Energy Environmental Manager from Wrightingon, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust who discussed their recent energy efficiency projects and gave an insight into how Salix Funding has been utilised across the hospitals.
