Salix to Speak at The Future of Retrofit

Salix will be speaking in Scotland at The Future of Retrofit 2017 conference, which focuses on the investment and sustainability in Scotland’s built environment at the Innovation Hub, in Cumbernauld on February 7th 2017.

The day will focus on improving the energy efficiency of Scotland’s buildings all of which have been designated a national infrastructure priority, and the new framework for Non Domestic Energy Efficiency (NDEE) framework available to all Scottish public sector organisations.

Keynote speakers include:

·         Anna Kynaston – Unit head of the Low Carbon Infrastructure Unit, Energy Division for the Scottish Government.

·         Janice Pauwels  - Sustainability Manager at City of Edinburgh Council.

·         John Sheridan – Chair at Built Environment 2020 Group.

Samuel Illsley, Programme Manager for the Scotland and Salix Recycling Fund programme, will be giving a presentation on the role that Salix plays in supporting the public sector in meeting the carbon reduction targets outlined in the Scottish Climate Change Act 2009.
