Salix present at Sixth Form College Association Funding Conference

The Sixth Form College Association (SFCA), Funding and Finance Conference took place today [Thursday, 17 March, 2022] at Friends House, London.  

The SFCA is an established voice of dedicated sixth form education and the hub of a national network of sixth form providers, who can call on each other for ideas, information and support, and who can offer insights, advice and solutions. 

Salix Finance, had the pleasure to present at the event on achieving net-zero within the sixth form sector with examples of case studies showcasing commitment and dedication to reaching net-zero.

The event was opened by Bill Watkin, Chief Executive, Sixth Form Colleges Association, and followed by James Kewin, Deputy Chief Executive on the future funding landscape.

The day incorporated presentations from key policy-makers and influential thinkers sharing their expertise and insights, to discuss the key topics with fellow college leaders and governors. 

The conference had been carefully put together to blend expert input, with practical advice and group discussions. Delegates also had the opportunity to share ideas, strategies, challenges and solutions to support in funding streams.
