New chair for Salix board

Baroness Evans replaces Dame Teresa Graham DBE

Baroness Natalie Evans of Bowes Park has been confirmed as our new board chair.

Baroness Evans was made a life peer in 2014 and from 2016 to 2022 she was the leader of the House of Lords.

During her career Natalie has worked at the Investor Relations Society, the Association of British Insurers, the British Chambers of Commerce and Policy Exchange.  Before entering the House of Lords, she was chief executive of the New Schools Network.

Baroness Evans replaces Dame Teresa Graham DBE who is stepping down from her role as board chair and founder.

“I am delighted to be joining the Salix board at an exciting time for the organisation.

“It is playing a pivotal role to help the UK reach its net zero target with the current decarbonisation schemes it is running on behalf of government.

“I know it also has ambitious plans for the future and I look forward to supporting its further growth.
