Phase 5 Public Sector Low Carbon Skills Fund guidance announced
The Public Sector Low Carbon Skills Fund provides grants for public sector bodies to access skills and expertise to unlock heat decarbonisation on their estate.
We’re pleased to release further details about Phase 5 of the Public Sector Low Carbon Skills Fund today.
The fund will provide up to £16 million of grant funding for the financial year 2024 to 2025. It is for use by eligible public sector bodies to access skills or expertise to unlock heat decarbonisation on their estate.
Today we have published Guidance Notes, including information on eligibility and criteria alongside Terms and Conditions as well as a video introducing you to the scheme.
We have also published Heat Decarbonisation Project Development Guidance aimed at providing applicants with an understanding of the activities they can apply for via the scheme, and information on how they can tailor their project to best suit the needs of their organisation.
On our Phase 5 Low Carbon Skills website area you will also find an application form and application portal questions.
The application portal will open for applications on Wednesday 17 April, 2024 at 2pm and will close on Wednesday 1 May 2024 at 2pm. Applicants are expected to hear the outcome of their application by the end of July 2024.
Successful applicants will be required to complete their funded activity by 31 March, 2025.
