Reports showcase the work of energy efficiency schemes delivered by Salix

Performance reports showcasing the work of schemes delivered by Salix have been published by government.

The reports detail the work of various schemes we deliver on behalf of the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. These include the work of Phase 1 and Phase 3 of the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme as well as a report on the Public Sector Energy Efficiency Loan Scheme.

They have been published on gov.uk here.

The Salix Energy Efficiency Loans Scheme is focused on interest-free loans to fund the installation of an energy efficiency measure that is repaid within five (or eight for schools) years through the savings incurred to energy bills.

The Recycling Fund is a ring-fenced, interest-free loan that is match funded by the participating organisation. Once loan funds are repaid, they are then recycled to fund other energy efficiency installations within the organisation. The Recycling Fund has been closed to new participants since 2011 although it continues for organisations participating beforehand.

Phase 1 of the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme was launched in 2020, and our team at Salix is currently delivering Phase 4 of the scheme.
