Salix shortlisted for ‘Net Zero Leader’ in prestigious awards
Salix is delighted to announce that it has been shortlisted for ‘Net Zero Leader – organisation’ at this year’s Association for Decentralised Energy (ADE) Awards 2023.
The Association for Decentralised Energy Awards event will be held tonight for those involved in decentralised energy celebrating the people and projects which have developed innovative solutions, best practices, and achievements across heat, efficiency, power and flexibility.
Salix is recognised as a key enabler of the public sector decarbonisation agenda delivering schemes across the UK.
Assistant of Programmes at Salix Finance, Chiara Lorenzetti said: “We are very excited to have been considered for this award, and we are extremely proud of how far Salix has come in supporting the public sector reaching their net zero goals.”
As the established government delivery partner for the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme and the Low Carbon Skills Fund, Salix works with the public sector to reduce their carbon emissions in line with the UK Government’s commitment to become net-zero by 2050.
This year Salix also took on the role of delivery agent for wave 2 of the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund and Home Upgrade Grant schemes.
The Salix teams work closely with the public sector throughout the decarbonisation journey from the moment funding is announced to the time when the projects are operational.
The teams offer expertise and support during the process which includes events, webinars, technical and carbon as well as delivery support.
The winners will be announced at the Association for Decentralised Energy Awards annual gala dinner, hosted at the Hurlingham Club in central London tonight, June 14.
